Your handwriting stays on your Mac

Effective date: August 5, 2026

Privacy is part of Letterloom's design. Handwriting photos, recognized text, and generated fonts are processed locally on your device.

Data we do not collect

Letterloom does not collect, upload, sell, or share your handwriting photos, recognized text, generated fonts, device identifiers, usage history, or analytics data.

On-device processing

Photo orientation correction, text recognition, stroke processing, font generation, and preview all happen on your Mac. No account is required.

File access

Letterloom accesses a photo or export location only after you choose it. The app uses user-selected file access provided by the macOS App Sandbox.

Network permission

The bundled local font engine runs through Apple's WebKit system component. Letterloom does not send your content to the developer or third-party servers.
